The A$800 deposit is paid before sourcing starts and is credited against our commission on your first order. It is not refundable once sourcing work has started. Commission is charged on the goods value of each order, excluding freight, insurance and duties. We share the commission schedule in your free consultation; the binding figures are those in your signed Service Agreement.

The sourcing service is the five-stage engagement: we confirm your product categories, sign one Service Agreement, approach factories directly, release the full details of the factory you agree, and then place and follow your order. A factory visit is an optional add-on where we accompany you in China to meet the factories face to face, quoted per itinerary.
We schedule up to three factory visits a day. Factories are shortlisted against your specific requirements before your trip, so you only visit relevant matches.
We keep sourcing until you approve a candidate, so your deposit is not spent on a single attempt.
Yes. Each product category is scoped separately, with an A$800 deposit per category agreed with you in writing first, and one trip can cover factories across your target categories.

Timing depends on your product and on how quickly a candidate satisfies you, because we keep sourcing until you approve one. Once you agree the factories you want to meet, we plan the itinerary and logistics. Rush trips may be possible with additional fees.
Absolutely. We specialize in helping first-time importers navigate the entire process. We provide guidance on import regulations, documentation requirements, and connect you with freight forwarders who handle customs clearance.
A typical visit day runs from 8:30am to 5pm. Your bilingual guide will collect you from your hotel at 8:30am. The first factory visit runs from 9:30am to 12pm, covering production lines, quality control, and meeting production managers. Lunch is arranged near the factory district from 12pm to 1:30pm. The second factory visit runs from 2pm to 4:30pm for deeper assessment or a different product line. Your guide debriefs with you from 4:30pm to 5pm on the same day, summarising observations and next steps while details are fresh.
The most common red flags include: refusing or repeatedly delaying video calls of their facility; unable to provide verifiable business license information; addresses that do not match industrial zones on maps; asking for large deposits before any verification; refusing to accommodate third-party inspections; offering prices significantly below market rates; using generic or stock photos rather than real facility images; lack of export experience to Australia or similar markets; vague answers about production capacity or equipment; and inconsistency between what is described in communication versus what is seen on-site.
